Abraham Padron immigrated to the United States at the age of five. After excelling in academics and athletics in high school and college, Abraham became a self-made success story, growing his family-owned small business into a flourishing company. Never forgetting his roots, Abraham attributes his success to a tenacious attitude he adopted in his youth and a driving desire to achieve and live the American Dream of success. Abraham has served for 18 years as Chief Executive Officer of Safeguard Insurance Agency, which he co-owns and has grown to 11 offices from Brownsville to Laredo. Abraham is married to Delfa, and has two children, Abraham Alec, 19, and Anna Christina, 2.

I am Abraham Padron, and I am a candidate for Texas House of Representatives, District 36. I have lived, worked, and raised my family in the district for most of my life. As a small business owner covering the basic needs of families in District 36 and across South Texas, I have a pulse for our community and its citizens. Our families deserve strong representation in Austin by someone who understands the needs of its citizens, puts their best interest first, and fights to get them the resources they need to be successful in life.
